Goodbye (for now).

My ~15 month long experiment is over. I am looking for a job.

I’m probably not going to refuse coaching clients, but it is not sustainable to rely solely on the coaching business for income at this stage.

It seems like I helped a few people solve their own problems and do “impossible” things that deep down I think they knew were possible, but were afraid to do.

I was privileged to watch clients attain their dreams (even as those dreams evolved).

Clients molded their businesses and career to fit the life they wanted to live.

They wanted to live by design, rather than by default, and they chose coaching to do that.

They were the craftsman, coaching was the tool.

It is bittersweet to watch them one by one do the “impossible”, then learn to do the “impossible” without me.

I miss working with them, and I’m happy they got what they needed. I appreciate that they want to be able to restart coaching one day.

I’m not sure what the future holds. I plan to be an employee for a while, and see what happens. I might keep the embers burning with a client or two. Or maybe I’ll decide that regular employment is the life for me.

I’ll entrust the future to God.

I am very grateful to you, my readers. That you would take the time to read my words means a lot to me. Thank you!

And who knows, maybe something fascinating will catch my eye, and you’ll have a new email in your inbox. Just don’t expect it.

Goodbye (for now).

Josh

P. S. Sorry for the unexplained break prior to this. I plan to write about what I learned while running a coaching business, but it’ll probably come after I find a job. Generating income is the current priority.
